Photographing and getting video of this wedding at the Hilton Garden Inn Phoenix/Avondale was spectacular. We have shot all sorts of weddings - both big and small. These types of weddings fit right in the middle. We loved how homely this one felt.

I was introduced to James via a friend of mine.

James Reams has been a client and friend of mine since 2012.

Since then, we've gone on to tackle a huge list of things: video editing material that was shot years ago, photographing his concerts, getting live footage of his concerts and distributing it on YouTube, and, most importantly, creating this documentary called Like A Flowing River.

This photo shoot was as great as it gets!

Senior portraits are incredibly important to everyone involved - the school, the parents, and most importantly, the senior who is about to graduate.

To the graduating senior, this moment is a stepping stone to something much greater.

Some teenagers go off to college while other teenagers go into the work force immediately.

This bright young lady has an incredible mother who only wishes the best for her.

With that in mind, we scheduled a shoot for a good portion of the day.

We traveled all over the city - from Glendale, to Buckeye, and then to Goodyear.

The location in the picture above was in Goodyear. We were lucky enough to get there while the sun was setting and the weather was still nice. 

With other shoots like corporate events and weddings, I always feel a bit of pressure because I always want to be perceived as a perfect company that can do no wrong.

For me that means that it takes a bit longer for me to really get into the creative mood.

While shooting senior portraits, I feel like it is a bit easier to unwind.

We were able to talk about silly things like boy groups, my lack of pop culture knowledge (I have no clue who Ed Sheeran is), and Chipotle!

This was a perfect family event!

We really enjoyed going out to this event and photographing it.

It reminded us of where we started before this business began.

We were only asked to stay until the cake cutting, but everyone at the party were having so much fun on the dance floor that we just had to stay and get photos of the party enjoying themselves.

So, we stayed and photographed everyone!

 An amazing friend of ours set us up with his uncle to do this shoot.

One night as we were plotting out to schedule the upcoming months, our friend called us on the phone and said,

"Josh, my uncle has always wanted to do a shoot on his bike.

I told him that you were the guy to go to."

After that call, we just could not refuse this photo shoot!

This was an all day photo shoot. We covered the entire city. The three of us traveled to Tempe, Scottsdale, Glendale, and to Goodyear. 

The incredible thing about photography is that it doesn't really matter if you're going 100mph or 20mph - the beauty in post production nowadays is that we can add in blur afterward.

So, we were able to leisurely shoot at highway speeds (when on the highway) or at city street speeds.

The entire day was an incredible amount of fun. It really tested how long and strenuous a day we can handle. Luckily, I was able to make it from morning to night time. 

We did this shoot for an awesome friend of ours.

This guy has been a buddy of ours ever since Joshua met him as coworkers at a grocery store.

Since then, they have both moved on to bigger and better things.

This friend of ours had asked us to do a photo shoot on his car before this business began.

We had heard he was going into the military and we just had to do this favor for him before he left.

It actually spurred a great idea from the both of us: a potential talk show where the car owner washes their car while we photograph it and they just give their spiel about why the bought the car and what their future plans are.

But what made this shoot endearing to us was the melancholy - it felt like a proper send off to a great friend.  

After the photo shoot, he had messaged me saying,

"By the way the pics you sent were phenomenal!!!"

That's what we live for - our phenomenal work being well perceived by our clients
